Description
The Trane VAL8710 is a Natural gas shut off valve designed especially for applications like furnaces, and boilers in HVAC systems. By its opening and shutting in response to electric signals, it controls the flow of the natural gas. This kind of valve operates to allow for gas flow whenever there is a passing of a current of 24-volts and will close to deny the flow whenever the energy supply is cut off. The Trane is physically small with the size of about 4.9 inches in length. Its half” input size is suitable for most gas lines available in home air conditioning systems.
