Description
The Trane SEN1542 is a Liquid Line Temperature Sensor and is a precision device for HVAC systems that measures the temperature of the liquid refrigerant line. This sensor is 5” long and 0.75” wide and height, it is made of copper and includes a spring steel clip to 1/2” tubing. It is designed to work at 24 VAC with a current consumption of 4.8 A, and it has 9750 ohms at 77 ° C, allowing its operation in various climates. The sensor incorporates the 20” long lead wires of 24-gauge to allow easy cable installation. It improves systems reliability due to accurate temperature measurements thus improving its performance and efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
