Description
The Trane PIT0084 is a natural gas pilot burner, this is a part of the gas furnaces. It’s a small single rod burner that ignites the main gas burner in order to produce heat for your home. The pilot burner is supplied with a steady stream of natural gas and a spark with which to ignite it. This tiny flame then ignites the main burner which in turn uses the main gas supply to heat the air the furnace blows through your home. This pilot burner is specially made for Trane furnaces but you can use it for other products with similar burner systems. The part is a necessary component if at any one time your furnace pilot burner is out of order or does not light up as it should.
