The Trane KIT2048 is a replacement kit for the natural gas valve for HVAC systems or heating and cooling systems more specifically for furnaces. It controls the rate at which gas flows to the burner so that your furnace is safe and energy efficient. The kit also has a 24-volt valve, an elbow, and a nipple that makes it easier to install. The valve is of 0.2 “WC pressure and is compatible with 3/4” gas line that is connected to 1/2” burner connection.
