Description
The Trane FAN3849 is a 2-blade fan blade that is intended to move air through heating and cooling systems. The one shown here is made from alloy steel and aluminum and measures 28 inches in diameter with a 30-degree angle. This angle better fits the airflow requirements of some applications. The fan rotates in counter clockwise direction and has a half inch bore to fit tightly on the motor shaft. This type of fan blade is used in blower section of furnaces and air handling units. Through spinning of CCW, it is able to suck air, compress it and then expel it through the duct work of the HVAC system.
