Description
The Trane CNT0696 is a 24V double-pole single-throw time delay relay used in HVAC Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning equipment. The relay acts as a control device by adding a predetermined delay to the activation or deactivation of another circuit, and the relay receives a 24V control signal through its two coil terminals. When turned on it begins a time delay between 1 and 1.5 minutes, but is usually set between 1 and 30 seconds. The delay of the relay is such that that circuit that could be controlled can be controlled by the relay when a single set of contacts is opened.
