Description
The Trane BAYLPKT050D is a conversion kit that will modify a Trane HVAC furnace or boiler, currently fired with natural gas (Nat), to operate on liquefied propane (LP) gas. This kit allows you to switch fuel sources if natural gas isn’t available or is not your preferred fuel option. The package includes the components needed to modify the burner’s operating and gas flow rate to get the better possible performance with LP gas. The standard installation procedure is to change out the jets or orifices in the gas burner assembly. The gas pressure regulator may also have to be slightly adjusted. This conversion kit works with Trane boilers and furnaces of 3 to 8.5 tons capacity.
