Description
This Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator, Model AC025F, is a highly efficient device designed to remove air from hydronic systems. It comes with a 2″ threaded connection and can handle up to 250 psi. The strainer included in the unit helps to remove dirt and debris from the system. The separator works by using centrifugal force to separate air and other gases from the liquid in the system. As water flows through the device, it spins rapidly, causing any air bubbles to rise to the top of the separator where they can be easily vented out of the system. This ensures that hydronic systems operate at peak efficiency by preventing air pockets that can cause noise and reduce heat transfer.
