Description
This close-coupled in-line pump has an in-line design with 2-inch suction and discharge ports, aligned for smooth fluid flow and reduced piping strain. It is self-supported by the system piping and can be installed in horizontal or vertical configurations. The assembly includes a 7.9-inch diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and bracket, paired with a bronze face plate. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for a maximum temperature rating of 250°F. This construction conforms to Hydraulic Institute standards and accommodates differential pressure readings through integrated tappings.
The unit uses a 3 HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC motor configured for 230/460V 3PH power, compatible with VFD operation. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
