Description
This close-coupled in-line pump features an in-line configuration with 2-inch suction and 2-inch discharge ports aligned to reduce system piping stress. The unit has a 7.9-inch diameter impeller housed within a robust assembly constructed from stainless steel for the casing, impeller, face plate, and shaft. A cast iron bracket supports the hydraulic assembly, while the mechanical seal uses a silicon carbide stationary seat, a carbon rotating element, and Viton elastomers for compatibility with temperatures reaching 250°F. This self-supporting configuration allows for both horizontal and vertical installation.
The pump uses a 1.5 HP motor operating at 1750 RPM in an ODP enclosure powered by a 115/208-230V/60/1PH supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
