Siemens 591-502 Stem Repack Kit is a vital part that helps to control the stem valves of HVAC systems. This packing package is suitable for valves with a 3/8” stem size and the packing can withstand up to 50 PSI. The kit which is made of EP V-rings can work effectively in temperature range of 40°F – 300°F, which is suitable for most steam applications. It is used for providing a leak-proof seal at the location of the valve stem to help minimize steam leakages, and retain system effectiveness. From the above disk, veil and gasket packing arrangement, the packing arrangement assists in regulating flow of the steam accurately with least possibility of the pressure loss due to tight seal. This leads to better systems’ performance and utilization rates.
