The Rheem-Ruud 470027 Limit Switch plays a crucialrole of safety and temperature control in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. This non-resettable limit switch ensures that equipment is properly within its operating temperatures because this limit switch operates at 225°F. The device has 48 amp current capacity and 575 VAC voltage capacity, and therefore, suitable for handling large current flows. Due to the fact that a switch is merely fastened to a flanged airstream, it is compatible with various systems including air handlers, furnaces and other kinds of heating appliances. Due to its non-latching nature which means that the system cannot reset itself after it has tripped.
