Description
The Modine 5H0730980002 is a 24-volt electromechanical gas valve that controls gas flow in a variety of HVAC systems, including furnaces and boilers. This operates by responding to electrical signals by opening and closing. The valve opens when it is powered, letting gas enter the burner. On the contrary, when it is deactivated, the valve closes and the gas flow stops. This safety element makes sure that when the equipment malfunctions or is not in use, the gas supply is turned off. The 3.5-inch water column rating denotes the valve’s capacity to handle pressure, while the 24-volt indication shows the electrical voltage needed to operate it. The diameters of the valve’s inlet and outlet ports are indicated by the 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch, respectively. These requirements are essential to guarantee compatibility with current gas lines.
