Description
The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100111032 Low Gas Pressure Switch is a safety switch designed to shut down gas-fired heating equipment when there is insufficient gas pressure to guarantee proper and safe burning. It works through adjusting the pressure at the burner level, and cutting off the pressure supply when the pressure is low. This minimizes the probability of incomplete combustion, a problem that leads to such things as carbon monoxide poisoning or an explosion. This switch is used in a variety of gas-fired heating appliances including boilers, furnaces, and water heaters.
