Description
The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100109070 Natural Gas Pilot with Tubing & Adapter is an ignition component used in gas-fired and water heating units in HVAC systems. It is used to provide a continuous low-flame pilot that ignites the main burner during system startup. It is used in boilers, furnaces, and water heaters, where it connects to the gas supply through integrated tubing and an adapter. It operates the burner ignition sequence, working alongside the thermocouple or thermopile to maintain proper flame detection and consistent burner operation under various load conditions and temperature cycles.
