Description
The Lennox 79J07 Low Ambient Pressure Switch is a safety device. This small switch is essential for protecting your equipment from the adverse effects of low ambient pressure conditions. When the surrounding pressure is below the safe operating limit, in this case, 150 PSI, this switch breaks the circuit and the system is turned off. This feature is especially useful because it keeps your HVAC system from running in conditions that are dangerous to maintaining the components in working order. When the pressure goes up to a safe level, in this case 275 PSI, the switch turns the circuit on and the system goes back to normal.
