Description
The Johnson Controls VA9203-GGB-2Z is an electric actuator designed mainly for HVAC purposes and is highly flexible. It provides accurate control of valves, including Johnson Controls’ VG1000 Series ball valves in 1/2” to 1” sizes. This actuator is of spring return type which ensures that it will close when power is switched off, making the system more secure. The second part of the name, “proportional”, means that it responds in proportion to a control signal, which is usually a 0-10 volt D.C. voltage. This allows for precise adjustment of the connected valve, thus increasing the rate of airflow or water flow in the HVAC system.
