Description
The Johnson Controls M9220-GGA-YK30 Electric Proportional Spring Return Actuator is a flexible and accurate HVAC equipment that regulates air dampers or valves. This solid construction is equipped with a 24V AC power supply and has proportional control. It supports industry-standard signals in two formats: 0-10 VDC and 4-20 mA. The more voltage or current, the larger the torque created by the motor that rotates a connected damper or valve through the exact 90°. This affords direct regulation oh the air or water flow in the HVAC system to the level desired. Another benefit of a damper or valve is the spring-return mechanism which arranges the medium back to particular position in the event of power loss; this makes it more safe.
