Description
The Johnson Controls M9203-BGB-2 Electric Spring-Return Actuator is a solid and strong device designed for the operation of air dampers for HVAC use. It uses a normal 24V AC power source and has only an on/off switch to control its power. Thus, as the signal ends, the spring return forces the damper to return to its original position as well. This fail-safe design means that the damper closes, possibly avoiding overheating or wrong air flow in the event of power loss. The other benefit is that there is only one auxiliary switch that provides electrical feedback on the position of the damper for integration with building automation systems for enhanced monitoring and control.
