The Danfoss 040B0010 OUB oil separator is used for the separation of oil from the refrigerant, with its high performance in HVACs. The 3/4″ flare return connection on this OUB oil separator allows it to be used with temperatures from 40°F to 248°F. This makes it suitable for practically any condition under which the system might be operating. It is pressure-rated at 580 PSI, which would ensure overall performance and durability in high-pressure applications. It serves to remove the oil that accumulates in the refrigerant flow, in this way, the possible damage to compressors and other sensitive components is prevented.
