Description
The Carrier HH19ZA175 is a tiny, but crucial switch in HVAC systems. This is an automatic temperature sensor and safety shutoff limit switch. The switch normally stays closed (doesn’t break the circuit) except at temps of 175°F (79°C) to protect the system from overheating. The switch automatically opens (can’t complete the circuit) once temperatures drop back down to a safe 135°F (57°C), at which time normal operation can resume. The HH19ZA175 limit switch acts as a thermal safeguard against potential damaging your Carrier HVAC system and operates safely.
