Description
The Carrier HH12ZB280 is a high limit switch used in Carrier HVAC systems which are usually furnaces or air handlers. A safety device that will turn off your furnace in case it gets too hot and may cause a fire. This compact switch which is approximately 3 inches long, 2 inches wide and 3.5 inches high. It serves the purpose of an essentialsafety measure in your heating system. This is set to come in a particular temperature range; the upper limit being 280°F while the lower limit is 40°F. In the event that the temperature inside the furnace rises to the high limit 280°F, then the switch isolates power to the burner.
