The Carrier 50ZP400040 Motor-Mount is a part which allows for a safe support of a motor in the HVAC systems. It is usually made of high strength materials such as steel or aluminum in order to accommodate motor and vibrations. The mount is secured to the chassis of the HVAC unit and the motor is fastened on the mount also. This enhances the stability of the motor and does not move at all when in operation which is for enhancing airflow in the system. Also, a secure motor mount reduces noise and vibration that is to make the building environment comfortable.
