Description
The Carrier 110000280 is an automatic limit switch, a 2-pole safety device necessary for Carrier HVAC systems. This is a small piece which is as small as 6” in length, 4” in width and 1” in thickness though it is essential in the safety of your equipment. As a result of the 2-pole design, the limit switch interrupts both the supply and return power lines when particular conditions are met to prevent the system from overheating or malfunction. In essence it serves as a backup safety measure by cutting the system before it gets to operating temperatures that are deemed unsafe.
