Description
The Belimo NFB24-MFT-S rotary actuator is specifically developed to control air dampers in HVAC systems. Because of its spring return mechanism, the damper closes on its own when the power goes out. The actuator uses a modulating motor to precisely adjust the damper position and is powered by 24V AC or DC. Because of this, proportional control is possible, in which case the damper opening changes in direct reaction to the control signal that is received. With a maximum torque of 9.5 Nm (84 lb-in), the NFB24-MFT-S is appropriate for a range of damper sizes and airflows. Additionally, it has a 95-degree rotation angle, which gives most damper applications plenty of range. The auxiliary switch is a bonus since it can be used to give feedback on the position or signal of the damper.
