Description
The Tecumseh K90-66 Overload Kit is a thermal protection component that is used in refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors in HVAC systems. It detects an overcurrent and temperature in the compressor motor and cuts the power to avoid overheating and electrical damage. When the conditions are restored to normal levels, the overload automatically resumes so that normal operation can resume. This kit is fixed to the compressor terminal space of outdoor condensing units, walk-in coolers, and so on. The compressor also protects against electrical and thermal stress within the refrigeration circuit.
