Description
The Lennox 31L13 is a natural gas (LP) shut-off valve that is installed in residential HVAC equipment. It controls the flow of the gas by opening and closing depending on an electrical signal of 24 volts. This valve is mostly used in gas furnaces and boilers. When the heating system is switched on, the control board provides a signal to the valve to turn which permits the flowing of gas to the burners. The 31L13 has a 1/2-Inch inlet/outlet and a manual changeover that enables service or testing while still providing gas supply.
