Description
The Trane THT0741 is a basic, non–smart outdoor thermostat that has been created to control your HVAC system depending on the outdoor climate. It works as a switch, by activating your air conditioner whenever the outdoor temperature goes above 76°F, (open temp) and deactivates the air conditioner when the temperature goes below 80°F (close temp). This is useful in regulating the indoor climate by preventing your AC from working during cool times and possibly saving energy. This thermostat is commonly used in residential heating and cooling systems.
