The Johnson Controls VA9203-AGA-2Z is a versatile electric actuator that is used to regulate the flow of air in HVAC systems – mostly in commercial and industrial structures. It uses a 24-volt power source and has two basic control modes: The relative position commands being “On/Off” for full open and closed positions and “Floating” for proportional control. Such flexibility enables accurate control of dampers, valves, and other air handling devices. The other advantage of the spring-return mechanism is that the damper always repositions itself in case of a power cut, which makes the system safer.
