Description
The Carrier 50K163042 is a Quiet Mist Muffler and is designed to help cut down the amount of noise produced by certain HVAC systems. It functions by confusing and trapping sound waves passing through the ductwork usually located in straight lengths close to the discharge of the equipment. It is designed for systems with a pressure of up to 500 PSI and the inlet connection is 1-1/8″. This assists in reducing sound while not compromising airflow, therefore, the HVAC system will run quieter and the home or building will be more comfortable.
