Description
This Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator, Model AC05, is designed for use in hydronic systems to remove air and other gases from the circulating water. The separator features a 5″ flanged connection with a maximum operating pressure of 150 psi and includes a base ring for easy installation. As water flows through the separator, it encounters a coalescing medium that separates any air or gas bubbles from the water. The separated gases then rise to the top of the separator where they are vented out through an automatic air vent. This process helps to maintain system efficiency by preventing air pockets that can reduce flow and cause noise in the system. The Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator is a reliable solution for maintaining optimal performance in hydronic heating and cooling systems.
