Description
This Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator, Model AC025F, is a 2″ threaded connection device that operates at a maximum pressure of 150 psi. It comes equipped with a strainer to remove debris from the hydronic system. The air separator works by removing air bubbles from the water in the system, which can cause issues such as reduced efficiency and increased corrosion. The device utilizes centrifugal force to separate air from the water, allowing it to be vented out of the system through an automatic air vent. This in-line air separator is designed for use in hydronic heating and cooling systems and can effectively remove up to 100% of the free air in the system.
