Description
The Rheem-Ruud SP10962DK is a natural gas pressure control valve used to control the pressure of natural gas in the HVAC systems such as furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. A 24-volt electrical connection is incorporated in the circuit and gets signals from the control board of the appliance. Whenever heating is needed the control board sends a signal to the valve to open to the standard flow rate of natural gas. This controlled gas flow enhances efficiency and safety of the operation of the appliance. The has a 3/4” gas connection size with the pressure range of 3. 5 “WC. Control of pressure on gases facilitates efficient combustion and, as such, this valve is deemed efficient.
