Description
The Trane SWT3088 is a limit switch – an essentialpiece of various HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air conditioning) products. It is electro-mechanical equipment comprising of sensors that detect status and outputs which act as positioning or motion-coordinative elements for the Objects within the system. When a preset value is attained the switch sends an on/off electrical signal. This particular signal may then be applied to turn on or off different characteristics of the HVAC unit to operate optimally or safely. This is generally recommended for use in applications including air conditioning units, heaters, and heat pump equipment. For example, it can be arranged to diagnose if a damper is wholly open or closed to accomplish proper airflow.
