Description
The York S1-025-44125-000 is a gas valve that is needed for the operation of gas-fueled heating and cooling systems. This particular model has a maximum gas pressure tolerance of 10” WC and is 3.5” in size. It is designed for natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas application. It has half and three quarter NPT for the gas inlet and outlet respectively and has 24 volts electrical power. Speaking of operation, the gas valve regulates the amount of gas that gets to the combustion chamber and therefore is considered a control element. It is electrically operated to open and shut to control the amount of gas required based on the HVAC system’s requirement for heating or cooling.
