The Carrier KA16EK002 is a left hand hinge that is used to replace the left hand hinge of Carrier HVAC system doors. It provides for easy and tight opening and closing of left-handed HVAC system doors. If a new hinge is needed, installing the KA16EK002 can keep the door aligned and in form after replacing the damaged or worn out one. Misaligned doors may cause poor sealing that results in the escape of conditioned air and poor system performance due to a faulty hinge. Due to the well-interlocking design of the hinge, the overall performance of the HVAC system is maximized, and the interior parts are shielded from contamination by dust and other debris.
