The York S1-025-37419-000 Auto Limit Switch is used to protect HVAC systems from the harms of high /low temperatures to the equipment. Used in conditions where the temperature fluctuates between -10°F and 50°F, this auto limit switch acts like a watchdog protecting the HVAC system by cutting off power to the system once the upper limit temperature is reached. On the other hand, when the temperatures are beyond the lower limit, the switch gets turned off and the system can continue functioning as soon as the switch is turned back on. This self-generated mechanism of guarding against both high temperatures and freezing makes your HVAC equipment more durable and efficient.
