Description
The Lennox 11W52 is a Limit Switch, a safety device in HVAC systems especially in furnaces and heat pumps. The toggle switch is used to indicate the internal temperature on the heating unit and to switch on or off the entire unit. It is designed to work between 240°F and 30°F, to avoid overheating and freezing while ensuring the safe and effective performance. If the temperature rises beyond the specified limit, the switch opens the circuit and deactivates the heat producing component to eliminate danger. When the outside temperature goes below the lower limit, the toggle switches on the heater which in turn provides a within atmosphere.
