Description
This close-coupled in-line pump has 2″ suction and discharge ports aligned to reduce system piping strain. The casing and bracket use cast iron construction, while the 7.9″ nominal diameter impeller uses stainless steel. A bronze face plate is paired with the bracket assembly. The pump includes a mechanical seal with a silicon carbide stationary seat, a carbon rotating element, and Viton elastomers, which allows for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The self-supporting structure can be installed in horizontal or vertical positions, and the unit includes companion flanges for connection to the system piping.
The unit has a 2 HP, 1750 RPM, ODP motor configured for a 208-230/460V, 3PH power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
