Description
This close-coupled in-line pump has 2″ suction and discharge ports aligned to reduce system piping strain. The unit is built with a stainless steel casing, impeller, and shaft, combined with a cast iron bracket and stainless steel face plate for structural rigidity. This self-supporting configuration can be installed in horizontal or vertical orientations, suitable for systems operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The hydraulic assembly uses a 6.15″ nominal diameter impeller and includes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. Built in accordance with Hydraulic Institute standards, the system has a Pump Energy Index of 0.93.
The 5 HP motor operates at 3450 RPM within an ODP enclosure on 230/460V, 3PH power. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
