Description
This Taco motor, with a 2 HP output, is designed for use with Taco Comfort Solutions pumps. It operates at a speed of 1750 RPM and has a voltage rating of 208-230/460V. The motor is compatible with a 60Hz power supply and is suitable for use in 3-phase systems. It features an explosion-proof fan-cooled enclosure, specifically designed to prevent the ignition of flammable gases or vapors in hazardous locations. The motor’s frame is a 56C-face configuration without feet, making it easy to mount and install. With a maximum ambient temperature rating of 40°C and a service factor of 1.0, this motor is built to withstand demanding operating conditions. It rotates counterclockwise (CCW) when viewed from the shaft end and meets the premium efficiency standards outlined in MG1-12.55 specifications. The motor starts using an across-the-line starting method.
