Description
This is a gallon container of Ramuc Type A Premium Chlorinated Rubber Pool Paint. This paint is self-priming and a two-coat system. For previously coated chlorinated rubber surfaces, Ramuc Type A provides superior coverage and protection. You can also use Type A on bare concrete, plaster, and Marcite surfaces. Ramuc Type A should not be used on fiberglass, Gelcoat, spas, whirlpools, metal, existing acrylic, salt pools, or existing epoxy surfaces. You should know the type of surface you have prior to ordering the paint.
A gallon of Ramuc Type A paint will cover 200-300 square feet of a bare surface pool and 350-400 square feet of previously painted pool. It has a high-gloss finish and should serve you for 5 years. The paint can be applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer. The dry time between coats is 24 hours. The dry/cure time before filing is 5-7 days for an outdoor pool and 10-14 days for an indoor pool. Clean-up can be done with the Ramuc Paint Thinner.
The Ramuc Type A paint is NOT VOC compliant. It cannot be sold in states where VOC limitations apply. They are: CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, IL, IN, MD, MA, ME, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VA (North of Richmond), and Canada. Depending on your state’s VOC regulations, you may need to use Ramuc A-2 chlorinated rubber paint, which is VOC compliant.
