Description
The Carrier 48TJ400431 Inducer Housing is essential for certain gas furnaces. The 10.1″ x 10.3″ x 2.7″ size of this essential component makes it so. The small blower wheel spins at high speed inside the Inducer Housing. It allows fresh air to be drawn into your home from outside creating a negative pressure zone within the housing. The incoming air is then mixed with a gas supply, and burnt in the furnace. With clean and efficient combustion, the Inducer Housing adds to that by ensuring a proper air-fuel mixture.
