The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100109594 is a 33” aluminum anode rod which is used in water heaters with an aim of increasing their life. This rod has a 3/4” NPT connection and 0.75” diameter to protect the steel walls of the tank from rust by adding corrosive elements inside the tank. This rod is designed for the Lochinvar and A.O. Smith water heaters. The utilization of an aluminum anode rod is perfect for hard water areas, providing enhanced protection, enhancing the heater, and avoiding constant maintenance or early tank replacement.
