Description
The Trane ACT0387 actuator is a small, universal component that regulates the air conditioning in heating and ventilation systems. This two-way or three-way valve can be used to modulate or open and close the damper control. The actuator contains a miniature electric motor that rotates the valve stem as a spring-loaded arm turns when connected to a 24-volt AC supply. This makes it possible to design the system in a usually closed (NC) and ordinarily open (NO) manner for the actuator. Despite the compact build, it has a 10-millimeter stroke length and generates 6 VA of power. The actuator is connected and designed to work with a standard 60 Hz power source.
