Description
The Siemens Industrial Controls HF361R Fused Switch is a heavy-duty, 30A, 3-pole, 600V, 3-wire switch and is used in industrial applications and HVAC systems where there is a need for a disconnect with overcurrent protection. This safety switch has built-in fuses that serve as a sacrificial component that melts when there is high current or short circuit, and therefore protects the equipment connected to it and minimize the chances of electrical fires. It is used in a way that allows manual control for the disconnection of power for maintenance, while the fuses provide an automatic control against overloads.
