Description
The Johnson Controls A350PS-1 is an independent electronic temperature control unit for the management of temperature in HVAC systems. It uses proportional plus integral (PI) control, a rather complicated algebraic technique that samples temperature of the surrounding environment and adjusts heating or cooling plant to a certain temperature. This SPDT design enables the unit to switch on or off either heating or cooling depending on the difference in temperature. A convenient plug-in digital control panel is used to select and display the preferred temperatures. The A350PS-1 has the following advantages for HVAC applications.
