Description
The Lennox 78L42 2-Stage Natural Gas Valve that is used on residential HVAC equipment. It regulates the supply the natural gas to the furnace burner to operate efficiently in conditions of high and low heating requirements. This valve operates by getting a 24V input from the furnace control board. The signal defines the level of operation, high heat or low heat. This valve then partly opens or closes to allow the correct measure of the gas that will heat appropriately. It helps to control the flow of the gas to the furnace and thus increases efficiency, decreases energy consumption and ultimately decreases fuel costs.
