Description
The Carrier P282-0321 2-pole, 30Amps contactor relay meant for use in HVAC applications. It works like a high amperage switch to regulate the current supply to the compressor. When the thermostat calls for cooling, the contactor gets a low voltage (24VAC) signal and makes the circuit, where a high current gets to the compressor. This relay is constructed for heavy usage and can handle up to 30 amps which will be sufficient for most home AC units. The P282-0321 comes with a screw terminal for ease of installation and firm connection with the wires. It can fit various HVAC equipment due to its size and also its pipe size of 2″ is appropriate for physical connection in the system.
