Description
The Belimo EFB24-MFT-S is a 24V spring-return, mixed-flow damper actuator intended for accurate airflow control in a variety of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems. This adaptable gadget integrates multiple features for dependable and effective functioning in your ventilation system. Using a 24V AC/DC power source, the EFB24-MFT-S generates proportionate rotary motion from a 0–10V DC control signal. A special mixed-flow mechanism then converts this rotation into linear movement, allowing the actuator to push or pull damper rods with a force of 270 in-lb (30.3 Nm). The internal spring of smoke control dampers, for example, automatically restores the damper to a predetermined position in the event of a power failure, allowing critical systems to function even in emergency scenarios.
